Grey Seiryu Stone

Seiryu stone is a popular hardscape material used in planted aquariums and aquascapes. It is probably the most common stone type used for Iwagumi style layouts however it looks equally as stunning in a nature aquarium style layout.

It's colour will vary from a light to dark grey, it may include white lines through the strata and it comes in a variety of different sizes and shapes. It will have a slight affect on the PH and hardness of you aquarium water however nothing that should be of concern unless you are using a large amount of stone.

It always pays to have a good selection of stones to choose from when aquascaping and the amount required will depend largely on the layout style you are going for however as an approximate guide we would recommend starting with about 10KG of stone per 50L of aquarium volume.
