Refund policy
Returns, Refunds and Warranties
All warranties, refunds and returns will be handled as per the guidelines provided by the ACCC and Australian Consumer Law that protects you as a consumer in Australia. The terms for refunds and returns are as follows.
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it

Is unsafe

Is significantly different from the sample or description

Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.
Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.
Change Of Mind/Errors Made When Ordering
We generally don't offer exchanges or refunds for change of mind or errors made when ordering so please ensure you choose your items carefully. If you need any assistance with choosing the correct product/s please contact us at hello@botanywayscapes.com and we will be more than happy to help.
At our discretion and on a case by case basis we may offer a refund or exchange for an item/s that you changed your mind on or made an error in ordering provided that;

You contact us within 7 days of your item/s being delivered

The item/s must be unused and in the same condition that you received it

The Item/s must be 100% complete in the original packaging and including all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentations

The Item/s must not be damaged in any way
Please contact us via email to discuss your case prior to returning goods to us. We will not refund or exchange items without first being consulted. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning items and the items returned will incur a handling and re-stocking fee.
Please note for hygiene/quarantine reasons we do not accept refunds or exchanges for food or additive items.
Damaged or Missing Items
Whilst Botany Way Scapes makes every effort to ensure your goods arrive safely it remains your responsibility to ensure that there are no damaged or missing items at the time of delivery. Please ensure you check your delivery and invoice for any damaged or missing items and contact us within 24hours of receiving the delivery if something is damaged or missing. Please contact us at hello@botanywayscapes.com and include evidence such as photos to further support your claim. We cannot accept responsibility if you have given authority for the package to be left unattended.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank.
There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@botanywayscapes.com.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded unless required by the Australian Consumer Law.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged or as required by the Australian Consumer Law. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@botanywayscapes.com
Shipping
To return your product please first contact us at hello@botanywayscapes.com for further instructions.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item back to us we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
