Dirty filter pipes and outlets can dramatically reduce the flow of your filter as well as becoming an eyesore with the build up of algae and organic matter.

Keep them clean using this hose pipe brush set designed specifically for cleaning the inside of lily pipes and filter hoses. It comes with 2 size brushes, one at each and and can be used for cleaning pipes with an ID of 9mm to 25mm in size.

How To Use

Use warm water to soften the dirt prior to cleaning, keep the lily pipe or hose steady and gently work the brush through to remove the build up of algae and dirt. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning. Please note, with glass lily pipes avoid aggressive cleaning or movements to minimize the risk of breakage.

For tough built on dirt, first soak the lily pipe in warm water with a small amount of unscented bleach prior to cleaning. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning and soak again in fresh water dosed with Seachem Prime to remove any traces of bleach prior to re-assembly.
